Tara has always been passionate about books and reading, knowing early on that she wanted to build a career around them. She earned a bachelor's degree with an emphasis on English, followed by a certificate in book publishing, refining her expertise in the industry. She then chose to specialize in book editing and guiding self-published authors through the publishing process.
Today, she runs Leaf & Literature, a thriving business dedicated to transforming manuscripts into masterpieces and helping writers achieve success.
In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her husband, Steven, and their energetic son, Maverick. Her mission is to turn her passion for books into a lifelong career, helping authors bring their stories to life and lead them to success!

Before joining Leaf & Literature, Steven thrived as Assistant VP of Partnerships at OpenFortune, crafting clever campaigns that stuck—much like fortune cookies after a great meal. Now, he channels that same energy into creating memorable experiences for book-loving tea drinkers.
Steven sees marketing as storytelling, believing a great brand, like a great novel, keeps you coming back for more. During free time, he’s making memories with Tara, and their son, Maverick. His mission? To inspire everyone to sip, savor, and get lost in a great book.
